Cookie Policy

Last Updated: June 2026

This Policy explains how Valethia Hub uses cookies, local browser storage, and similar technologies to keep your session secure, persist your shopping cart, and optimize your overall experience.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your web browser when you visit websites. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently, keep your authentication session active, and remember settings across different pages.

In addition to cookies, Valethia Hub uses **Local Storage (localStorage)**. Local Storage is a technology built into modern browsers that allows us to store larger amounts of key-value data directly on your device. Unlike cookies, Local Storage data does not expire automatically and is not sent to our servers with every HTTP request, making it ideal for client-side state preservation (like your shopping cart).

2. How We Use Cookies & Local Storage

We use these technologies to support core platform functionality. They are categorized as follows:

Essential / Authentication

Used to authenticate your identity when you sign in, prevent fraudulent access to your account dashboard, and verify secure connections via Supabase. Without these, you cannot log in or manage your creator storefront.

Functional / Core Experience

Used to remember your choices (such as your shopping cart items, selected storefront, and preferences like sound or haptic feedback). This ensures you do not lose your shopping cart items if you refresh the page or navigate away.

Platform Analytics

We track anonymous usage events (e.g. view counts of feeds or cards) to update counters in real-time. This helps creators understand how many times their products have been viewed without identifying individual users.

No Third-Party Ad Cookies

Valethia Hub does NOT deploy advertising cookies, cross-site trackers, or third-party marketing cookies. Your browsing habits on our platform are not sold or shared with ad networks.

3. Key Cookies & Storage Keys

Below is a list of the primary cookies and local storage variables we use:

sb-refresh-tokenStores the Supabase refresh token to automatically keep the user logged in.7 DaysEssential / Auth

4. Managing Your Cookie Preferences

Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser settings to decline cookies if you prefer.

Please note that blocking essential cookies will make it impossible to log in to your creator account or use the creator dashboard. Disabling local storage will prevent the unified cart from persisting products between page reloads, causing you to lose your cart items whenever you refresh or re-enter the app.

How to clear local data manually:

You can clear your cart and preferences at any time by clearing your browser's site data, cache, or local storage. In most desktop browsers, you can do this by pressing F12, navigating to the "Application" or "Storage" tab, and selecting "Clear Site Data" or deleting keys starting with valethia-.
